In this example we are showing how to use insertGroupAt method to insert a new group as a child at position 2 in group collection of Accordion widget. Although the position is set to 2, if there are no groups present in Accordion, the new group will be added as a first group.
$(document).ready(function() {
// Create an instance of Accordion widget
var $bar = $('#accordion').accordion();
var getGroupCount = function(){
return $bar.accordion("getList").length + 1;
}
var createNewGroup = function(){
return { text: "Group" + getGroupCount() };
}
$bar.accordion("insertGroupAt", createNewGroup(), 2);
});
